Control Tactics And Survival Skills (CTSS)​

CTSS LEVEL 1 is a 16 hour course that provides training in human physiology, use-of-force decision making, situational awareness (summary), tactical communication (summary), arrest procedure, tactical handcuffing, and searching of cooperative subjects.

CTSS LEVEL 2 is a 40 hour course that provides LEVEL 1 certification plus tactical control principles and strategies, impact weapon (baton) use, weapon retention, and ground fighting. CTSS LEVEL 1 and 2 courses do NOT have to be taken separately. Example : Level one is not needed before level two.
